What are the responsibilities and job description for the School Based Speech Language Pathologist position at Seagull Student Services?
Experienced school based virtual SLP's, consider this exciting opportunity for the remainder of the '24-25 school year and beyond!
This is a hybrid, full time (37.5 hours per week), position with travel to the district three times per school year. Travel takes place for two weeks in duration (required) during the fall, winter, and spring. Travel, including airfare, lodging, car rental, and food, is paid or reimbursed by Seagull. Don't currently have an Alaska SLP license? No problem, we will reimburse.
Caseload consists of 48 elementary/middle school students across three school sites within the district. Case management required for 18 students on the caseload.
Seagull has a large team of hybrid therapists within this district so you will find ample support, along with the clinical support provided by Seagull directly.
Applicants must have strong interpersonal skills and be comfortable working as part of a team across multiple school sites, collaborating, co-treating with OT, problem solving and demonstrate strong adaptability.
Seagull is SLP owned and operated. We offer 401K, CEU's, therapy materials, evaluation tools and clinical support. We do not offer health benefits at this time.
Estimated start for this position is March 3, 2025. There will be a final visit to the district in April for two weeks. The school year ends in May. This position will continue for the '25-26 school year.
