You are a motivated Lead Sales Development Representative (SDR), skilled at finding and screening potential clients who could benefit from our solutions and services. As the first line of communication with a prospect, you have a strong understanding of the sales process and excel at researching leads, building new relationships, and setting up appointments for sales executives that drive qualified pipeline. WHAT YOU WILL DO
- Build, train and develop members of the Sales Development team to identify, contact, and create qualified opportunities through shadowing, role plays, process improvement, and performance reporting in recurring 1:1’s enablement
- Establish a culture of performance, curiosity, accountability, and trust, allowing for internal advancement, and creating a pipeline from Sales Development to long term, invested Senior sellers
- Represent the company’s products and services, using comprehensive knowledge as well as consumer research to explain how our solutions meet prospect needs
- Generate leads and build relationships by nurturing warm prospects and finding potential new sales opportunities
- Manage and maintain a pipeline of interested prospects and engage marketing and sales executives in next steps
- Work closely with the Marketing team to provide feedback on MQLs and campaigns
- Work closely with Sales and the Sales Leadership team to improve opportunity management and qualification processes
- Create and iterate the sales development process, methodology, campaigns, hiring profiles, training and enablement
- Plan, forecast, and understand ramp-adjusted capacity to ensure the team is grown effectively, in tandem with the needs of our sales organization and the supply of inbound demand from marketing
- Leverage Salesforce, Salesloft, LinkedIn Navigator & Apollo to execute cadences of warm and cold calls, emails, and LinkedIn messages to generate new sales opportunities
- Identify the needs of prospects, and suggest appropriate products or services
- Build long-term, trusting relationships with prospects to qualify leads as sales opportunities
- Proactively seek new business opportunities in the market
- Set up meetings or calls between (prospective) customers and sales executives
- Report to marketing Demand Generation manager with weekly, monthly, and quarterly results
- 5 years’ experience as a Sales Development Representative in SaaS, with a track record of achieving appointment setting targets
- 2 years’ experience as a lead/supervisor of Business Development Team
- Strong English communication skills via phone and email
- Proven, creative problem-solving approach and strong analytical skills
- Strong desire for knowledge with a proactive approach to accomplishing goals
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience
- Experience in supply chain
- Proficiency with Salesloft, Salesforce, LinkedIn Navigator, ZoomInfo SalesOS, and Apollo
- Compensation for this full-time job is an annual base salary between $78,000 - $120,000 with the potential for an annual bonus. Qualified candidates can expect a starting salary from the lower end to midpoint of the range. The specific starting salary offered to a candidate may be influenced by various factors, including but not limited to the candidate’s relevant experience.
