Job Purpose
A SEA Inspector is responsible for performing the NDT inspection method in accordance to Standard Operating Procedures. This position is responsible for ensuring that all materials inspected meet the quality standards set by SeAH Steel USA, LLC. This position will require working within the organization’s goals and team structure and contribution to the Overall Safety Program
Duties & Responsibilities
Calibrate and properly run SEA equipment.
- Organize and report results of SEA test.
- Accurately fill out / record applicable paperwork.
- Performs all applicable inspection functions to the requirements of ASNT SNT TC-1A and API and internal procedures.
- Provide training to other NDT inspectors.
- If he / she is certified with a level I, he / she needs to report to another Inspector level II for acceptance / rejection of material.
- Other duties as assigned.
Qualifications / Competencies
Education : o High school diploma or equivalent preferred but not required.
Physical Requirements & Working Conditions
Working conditions are normal for a manufacturing environment.
Direct Reports / Authorities
This position has the authority to stop an operation if he / she deems it necessary, for reasons of safety, and possible equipment damage.
