Key Responsibilities
- Analyze, evaluate, and document business processes to enhance operational efficiency
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement standardized documentation of business and technical metadata
- Assist the Office of Data Governance (ODG) and IT teams in developing metadata library projects
- Provide solution recommendations, risk assessments, and financial analyses, including cost/benefit evaluations
- Facilitate change management initiatives related to technology and business processes
- Prepare and deliver reports, presentations, and training sessions for non-technical stakeholders
Day-to-Day Responsibilities
- Work closely with public health program staff to document business and technical metadata
- Monitor and report progress on metadata documentation and data governance initiatives
- Conduct stakeholder meetings to gather requirements and provide updates
- Support the design and implementation of data governance tools
- Ensure clear communication of project objectives and deliverables across teams
- Troubleshoot and resolve challenges related to data governance and metadata management
Preferred Experience & Attributes
- 4 years of experience in data governance, data management, or business analysis
- Proven ability to engage and communicate with business teams to implement technical solutions
- Strong verbal and written communication skills, particularly for non-technical audiences
- Experience leading stakeholders through technology-driven change management
- Ability to work collaboratively in cross-functional teams
- Preferred experience in documenting business and technical metadata
- Familiarity with Informatica Data Governance tools (Axon, Enterprise Data Catalog, Data Quality) is a plus
- Experience with public health programs or data assets is desirable
