- Extensive experience with Cisco Datacenter technologies (e.g., Nexus 9K, DCNM/NDFC).
- In-depth knowledge of cloud networking solutions (e.g., ExpressRoute, DirectConnect, VMC).
- Extensive experience with Azure and AWS.
- Proficiency in routing and switching protocols (vxLAN, EVPN, BGP).
- Strong background in architectural and design analysis of network environments.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills for effective teamwork.
- Experience with service and application migration strategies is essential.
- Architectural Analysis: Perform architectural, policy, and design analyses of the current network environment to identify improvement opportunities.
- Configuration Management: Configure new environments and connectivity solutions to facilitate seamless service and application migration.
- Stakeholder Coordination: Collaborate with internal teams and external partners to effectively coordinate migration efforts.
- After-Hours Support: Provide support for after-hours network changes and manage Day 1 support and hand-off to operations.
- Documentation: Develop and maintain comprehensive documentation for network configurations, policies, and operational procedures.
- Monitor network performance and proactively troubleshoot issues as they arise.
- Work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure network designs align with business requirements.
- Conduct regular reviews of network configurations and implement adjustments as necessary.
- Stay informed on industry trends and emerging technologies in cloud and data center networking.
