REPORTS TO: Accounting Manager
LOCATION: Honolulu, HI 96819 - IN OFFICE POSITION - MUST LIVE ON OAHU
COMPENSATION: $41,600 - $52,000/Annual Salary – Pay Rate Based on Qualifications

THE OPPORTUNITY
Seal Masters of Hawaii is looking for an ambitious, self-motivated Accounting Clerk to assist with monthly accounts payable, accounts receivable and other miscellaneous daily tasks while supporting efficient day-to-day accounting functions.

RESPONSIBILITIES & COMPETENCIES
- Ability to work with a minimum of supervision
- Analytical problem solving ability
- Ability to work well under pressure and within tight deadlines while maintaining accuracy
- Ability to multi-task
- Support all day-to-day accounting functions
- Prepare/collect/post weekly and monthly customer receivables
- Post daily credit card activity to the general ledger
- Prepare monthly reconciliations
- Prepare postings to the general ledger
- Special projects as needed
REQUIREMENTS FOR THE ROLE
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance with a minimum two years of experience in a financial environment
- In lieu of Bachelor's degree, minimum 2 years of experience in a financial environment
- Proficient knowledge of Microsoft Office, especially Excel
- Proficient verbal and written communication skills
- Experience with QuickBooks preferred
