Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Laborer to join our team in a dynamic construction environment. The ideal candidate will have experience with heavy equipment operation and a strong work ethic. This role involves working on various construction sites, assisting in building and paving projects, and ensuring that all tasks are completed efficiently and safely.

Duties

• Operate heavy machinery, including bulldozers, backhoes, and front loader trucks, to assist in construction tasks.
• Perform utility locating to ensure safe digging practices on site.
• Assist in building structures and paving surfaces as directed by supervisors.
• Maintain equipment by performing routine checks and minor repairs as needed.
• Collaborate with team members to complete projects on time while adhering to safety regulations.
• Follow instructions from foremen and project managers to ensure quality work is delivered.
• Keep the construction site clean and organized to promote a safe working environment.

Skills

• Proficiency in heavy equipment operation, particularly with loaders, bulldozers, and backhoes.
• Knowledge of construction site protocols and safety regulations.
• Ability to read blueprints and follow technical instructions effectively.
• Strong physical stamina and the ability to lift heavy materials as required.
• Excellent teamwork skills with a focus on communication and collaboration.
• Experience with utility locating techniques is a plus.

Pay: $16.13 - $28.00 per hour
