Starting Pay:
$35.00 per hour / $72,800 per year (not including overtime)
Job Description:
Sealed Air is seeking a skilled and dedicated Electrical/PLC Specialist for our Food Packaging Plant in Missouri. The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining, troubleshooting, and improving our plant’s electrical and PLC systems. This role requires a strong mechanical aptitude, a thorough understanding of PLC and machine control, and the ability to work in a fast-paced team environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Ensure all work is conducted safely and in accordance with company safety policies and procedures.
- Maintain and troubleshoot PLC and machine control systems.
- Perform programming, diagnostic, design, and development work using relevant software.
- Conduct computer operations, including repair and process programming.
- Utilize SAP, Excel, Word, and other computer programs for various tasks.
- Demonstrate critical thinking and good judgment in all job functions.
- Collaborate effectively with team members to achieve operational goals
Qualifications:
- Proven ability to demonstrate safe work practices in previous positions.
- Strong mechanical aptitude and experience with PLC and machine control systems.
- Knowledge of programming and diagnostic, design, and development software.
- Experience with computer operations, including repair and process programming.
- Proficiency in SAP, Excel, Word, and other relevant computer programs.
- Ability to demonstrate critical thinking skills and good judgment.
- Excellent teamwork and communication skills.
