About the Role
We are seeking an experienced Equipment Applications Engineer to join our team at Sealed Air Corporation. In this role, you will be responsible for navigating the dynamic landscape of the food packaging industry to collect and leverage customer feedback.
You will work closely with equipment and materials teams, field support, sales, customer service, and supply chain to ensure new and existing products meet the high standards of Sealed Air Corporation.
The ideal candidate will have a strong background in electrical and mechanical engineering, with experience working with industrial equipment.
- Provide technical solutions to customers, external vendors, field representatives, and the broader Innovation & Development organization.
- Develop and lead factory acceptance tests to ensure requirements are met and manage installation start-ups.
- Support remote access installation and troubleshooting.
- Collaborate with machine design engineers to develop new packaging machines, add new features to existing machines, and make upgrades to existing machines.
- Flexible travel domestically and internationally, at least 30%.
