Responsibilities
Learn and develop software solutions for embedded systems
Continuously learning and adapting to modern technical excellence practices/techniques
Collaborate and regularly pair with other software engineers to cooperatively deliver results
Learn and gain experience in our continuous integration and deployment techniques
Demonstrate the ability to take initiative in delivering a key milestone project
Qualifications
Required Qualifications:
Completed two years (minimum rising Junior) toward a bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or equivalent
3.0 or higher GPA
Able to provide own transportation to the internship/co-op location
Proficient with C/C++ and low level hardware interfacing concepts
Experience with high-level programming/scripting languages like Python or JavaScript
Experience with Embedded software design, deployment, and testing
Open personality toward pairing and collaborating among team members
Experience with the following tools, technologies, or practices:
Source Control Management (SCM) with Git or similar
Basic hardware/PCB troubleshooting using DMMs and/or oscilloscopes
Device interfacing via SSH and/or serial communication
Preferred Qualifications:
Familiarity with Linux operating system environments
Microcontroller experience (e.g. Microchip, Raspberry Pi, Arduino, etc.)
Soldering and prototyping skills
Salary : $65,000 - $114,000
