The Technical Services Build Specialist provides construction application for Seaman Corporation initiatives. Through collaboration with various departments within Seaman Corporation this role provides hands on assistance for Technical Services Training Initiatives, Sales and Marketing Sample Construction, Codes and Approvals Testing programs, and Technology Department system research and development.
The Technical Services Build Specialist plays an important role in ensuring the successful installation of Seaman Corporation products that safeguard the customers valuable assets. The Build Specialist actively contributes to areas for improvement as they continue to develop and seek ways to contribute and provide new solutions. This dynamic position offers ample room for professional growth and skill development.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following. Other duties may be assigned.
- Construction and demolition and maintenance of the Seaman Corporation Training Center as necessary for Technical Service and Sales Training functions.
- Construction of system assemblies and components for system testing and research as assigned for Codes and Approval projects.
- Collaboration of sample construction for Marketing, Sales, and Technology departments.
- Engage in ongoing learning related to building materials, construction techniques, and industry trends.
- Attend workshops, conferences, and training sessions.
- Develop understanding of the requirements necessary to achieve and maintain Building Code and Regulatory Approvals to meet the needs of the market and maintain competitive edge
- Provide current approval documentation and code content expertise.
- Summarize data and respective information into tools.
- Develop understanding of competitive roof systems and products for technical performance and positioning through gained experience of construction practices.
- Analysis of published system listings to establish opportunities for continued improvement.
- Coordinate with vendors and/or suppliers to modify or develop testing for components or other products.
- Fulfill related customer requests for product/system reports and/or certifications.
- Assist Codes & Approvals & Marketing Managers in development of marketing/sales tools as required.
- Complete related tasks, as assigned by Technical Training Specialist.
- High school diploma or GED (General Education Degree) or Vocational Degree related to construction
- The individual will bring practical experience of hands-on construction
