Textile Machine Operator/Material Handler
Job Summary
While following safe operating procedures at all times, your main responsibility is material handler for the weaving department. The job task is to supply the textile machines with yarn, staging materials for production, occasionally load/unload trucks, remove completed beams of fabric and ready for shipping, relieve weaving operators for breaks and assist the weaving technician as needed. Other task maybe assigned.
Physical Demands
When performing the duties of this job, the associate must frequently lift and/or move up to 30 pounds, occasionally up to 50 pounds. Use forklift or overhead cranes to move beams, yarn packages and rolls of cloth, ranging from 1,250 to 3,000 lbs. The associate is regularly required to stand, walk, use hands to finger, handle, or feel and reach with hands and arms; to climb or balance and stoop or kneel.

Requirements
HS Diploma/GED required
Previous factory experience helpful, but will train
Some Computer Skills Preferred
