We are recruiting for the following position : Sea Mar is a mandatory COVID-19 and flu vaccine organizationCommunity Resource Navigator (CRM) - COFA - Posting #25422Hourly Rate : $19.25Position Summary : Full-Time position Community Resource Navigator (CRN) - COFA (The Compact of Free Association (COFA) is an economic and military treaty between the United States and the Republic of the Marshall Islands, the Federated States of Micronesia and the Republic of Palau). This position is available for our Managed Care Department in Tacoma. The Community Resource Navigation requires travel throughout Pierce County and Thurston County in these cities : Olympia and Lacey, WA. You must have reliable transportation, a clean driving record and up-to-date auto insurance coverage.The CRN must have a valid driver's license and valid insurance. The role of the Community Resource Navigator is to provide information and assistance to individuals seeking health coverage, health care and other local resources that aid them in maintaining a healthy lifestyle. Helps in educating eligible individuals on how to navigate health insurance options, public programs, and Sea Mar services and assist with the application processes. Aid newly assigned and high-risk patients in scheduling their initial appointment for medical, dental and care management services. Provides case management and or participate in intervention strategies that remove barriers that may result in appointment no shows. This service is provided at both Sea Mar service locations or through home visits as necessary. In addition they are responsible for meeting all Washington State and Sea Mar testing and certification requirements.Qualifications and / or Requirements : Must possess good organizational and time-management skillsDemonstrate good judgment and have excellent problem-solving abilitiesMaintain a professional demeanor at all times and maintain confidentiality at all times.Must be proficient at public speaking.Must have good spelling, grammar and written communication. Legible handwriting requiredMust have the ability to read and interpret complex documents, reports as well as data.Must be able to work evenings and weekends as needed.Must be self-motivated, have excellent work ethic and be able to work independently.Proficient in Microsoft programs specifically in both WORD and EXCEL.Marketing and sales experience considered a plus.Bilingual in English / Spanish preferred.Education and / or Experience : AA or BA in Social Services or Business Administration is preferred. At least 2 years of customer service experience is required; preferably in a health care environment. Additional work experience may be substituted for some education.
