Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and efficient Warehouse Worker to join our team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation of our distribution center by handling materials, operating equipment, and maintaining accurate stock levels. This position requires a strong attention to detail and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Safely operate various warehouse equipment including cranes, pallet jacks, and reach trucks.
• Load and unload materials from trucks and containers, ensuring proper handling to prevent damage.
• Stock shelves and maintain inventory accuracy by conducting regular counts and updates.
• Utilize order pickers to fulfill customer orders efficiently and accurately.
• Ensure the cleanliness and organization of the warehouse space to promote safety and efficiency.
• Collaborate with team members to meet daily operational goals and deadlines.
• Follow all safety protocols and guidelines while operating heavy equipment.

Skills

• Proficiency in materials handling techniques.
• Experience operating heavy equipment such as cranes and reach trucks is preferred.
• Familiarity with warehouse operations within a distribution center environment.
• Ability to effectively use order pickers and pallet jacks for efficient material movement.
• Strong organizational skills with attention to detail for accurate stock management.
• Capability to lift heavy packages safely as required by the role.
• Excellent teamwork skills with a focus on collaboration and communication.

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $17.05 - $18.70 per hour

Expected hours: 25 – 30 per week
