Seamless Migration is seeking a career and customer-oriented Information Systems Security Officer (ISSO) to join our team in Springfield, Virginia.
CLEARANCE
Active TS / SCI clearance (existing clearance required to start)
Ability to obtain and maintain a Counterintelligence (CI) Polygraph
LOCATION
Springfield, VA
OVERVIEW
The Information Systems Security Officer (ISSO) ensures the appropriate operational security posture is maintained for specific information systems, including :
Wide Area Networks (WANs)
Local Area Networks (LANs)
Cross Domain Solutions (CDSs)
Standalone systems
Developing and updating system security plans
Managing and controlling changes to specific systems and assessing their security impact
Incident handling
Developing information system security documentation, policies, and procedures
Providing Risk Management Framework (RMF) products documenting system security compliance
Delivering annual Federal Information Security Modernization Act (FISMA) reports and metrics as defined by the COR’s CIO
QUALIFICATIONS
Associate’s Degree from an accredited university or equivalent experience
4 years of experience in Information Security (INFOSEC) operations and / or Cybersecurity-related support
Shall meet the Cyber IT / Cybersecurity Workforce (CSWF) Systems Security Analyst (461) Intermediate Level for SECNAV M-5239.2 compliance (See Navy Cool Website)
Certifications (one or more of the following) :
Certified Authorization Professional (CAP)
CompTIA Advanced Security Practitioner (CASP )
CompTIA Security ce
Systems Security Certified Practitioner (SSCP)
NICE TO HAVE
2 years of experience with the Risk Management Framework (RMF) within the Intelligence Community (IC), DoD, and / or Federal Systems community
1 years of experience using Security Information and Event Management (SIEM) products
1 years of experience using vulnerability scanning products
OS / CE certification for :
Windows 10 and Windows Server 2012 / 2016 or newer
Red Hat Enterprise Linux (RHEL)
