Shop Hand / Yard Hand Position
Seamless Supply is currently looking for a Shop Hand / Laborer to assist with daily operations. Work will be performed under the shop supervisor. Duties will be given on a daily basis.
Compensation
New hire will be classified as an hourly employee DOE.
Basic Duties
- Unloading flat stock
- Cutting flat stock to the correct size
- Loading coils on to the roll forming machine
- Assist customers with loading and unloading any orders
- Ensure the work and shop area remain neat and tidy
- Maintain yard
- Unload & check-in shipments
- Haul trash
- Other duties as assigned
Qualifications
- Must be 18 years of age or older
- Must be able to lift 75 pounds
- Equipment and fork-lift operational experience is a plus
- Sheet metal experience is a plus
- General Construction knowledge is a plus
- Dependable team player with a positive attitude and the ability to follow directions given by the shop supervisor
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: From $20.00 per hour
