SeamonWhiteside is looking for a talented and motivated individual to join our growing water resources team. This position will focus on the analysis and design of natural and man-made water ways to include both floodplains and stormwater systems. The successful candidate will be leading the technical execution and delivery of projects and tasks ranging from stormwater system assessments and master planning, FEMA floodplain studies, floodplain mapping, bridge and culvert hydraulic studies, stormwater and drainage system asset inventory and management, sea level rise and resiliency planning, design and preparation of construction documents, and construction administration.

Requirements :
Education : Bachelor’s Degree in Civil, Environmental, or Agricultural Engineering, required
Master’s Degree is a plus
Experience : 4 - 8 years work experience in a similar position
Desired Skills
- Professional Engineer (PE) registration required
- In-depth knowledge of and experience with design of municipal stormwater infrastructure, such as collection systems, pump stations, closed conduit systems, and open channel drainage
- Proficient use of hydrologic and hydraulic modeling software such as PCSWMM, HEC-RAS (1D and 2D), HEC-HMS, SRH-2D, and DRAINMOD
- Extensive knowledge and capabilities with ESRI ArcGIS Pro, Survey 123, and Field Maps
- Experience with conducting data analytics of spatial and hydrological data sets using statistical computing languages such as R or Python
- Experience with completing FEMA floodplain map revisions (CLOMR / LOMR) and amendments (CLOMA / LOMA / CLOMR-F / LOMR-F)
- Detailed experience with AutoCAD and Civil3D software for preparation of construction documents
- Ability to work independently to effectively manage time and work in a team environment
- A strong desire for continuous professional and personal development and improvement
