SeamonWhiteside is seeking a Land Planner I Intern for summer 2023 at our Mount Pleasant, SC office. The selected candidate will be exposed to all levels of the creative business environment. Assignments will vary but will focus on supporting graphic production and construction documentation, as well as to assist with marketing efforts. A passion for the profession and the desire to learn and grow is critical. A candidate must have excellent design and graphic skills and be able to work well in a team setting.
Requirements
- Pursuing an undergraduate or graduate degree in Landscape Architecture from an accredited university
- Proficient in AutoCAD and Adobe Creative Suite. Experience with 3D rendering and GIS desirable
- Ability to support multiple projects concurrently and adjust to dynamic project needs and deadlines
- Possess a passion for great design
- Possess excellent communication skills, including graphics, speaking, and writing
- Proficiency with planting design and knowledge of plant materials is a plus
- Well organized with the ability to collaborate within a multidisciplinary design setting
