SeamonWhiteside is in search of an ambitious and talented professional to serve as a Land Planner I in a fast-paced environment in our growing Upstate, SC office.
SW is seeking a Land Planner I with 0-2 years’ experience of professional experience in a design office, post-graduation. The ideal candidate will have a solid technical foundation (planning, modelling, construction knowledge) and a positive attitude toward involvement on a wide range of projects. The position requires working closely with a team of landscape architects and civil engineers on multiple projects on a variety of scales throughout South Carolina. The successful candidate must be a leader, self-starter, mature, organized, flexible, possess a strong work ethic and the desire to succeed.

Requirements
Portfolio: Must be submitted along with a resume
Education:
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Landscape Architecture
Experience:
- 0 - 2 years’ experience in a professional design office
Desired Skills:
- Exceptional AutoCAD technical drawing and digital production skills
- Proficiency in 3D modeling and rendering skills (Lumion, Sketchup, or similar preferred)
- Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite including InDesign, Photoshop, and Illustrator.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications including Word, Excel and Power Point
- Proven experience with construction detailing and construction documentation
- Exceptional graphic presentation skills including hand drawing and high-quality illustrations
- Strong organizational and project management skills
- Strong oral and written communication skills
- Demonstrated problem-solving and critical-thinking skills
- Professional demeanor
- Interpersonal skills – ability to effectively interact with individuals at all levels
- Creative design sensibilities and attention to detail
- Knowledge of horticulture and regional plant material.
