About The Role:
The Human Resource Coordinator will perform administrative tasks and services to support effective and efficient operations of human resource department. Note that this role is temporary and estimated to last approximately 6 months in duration, subject to change based on business needs.
What You Will Do
- Maintains accurate and up-to-date human resource files, records, and documentation.
- Answers frequently asked questions from applicants and employees relative to standard policies, benefits, hiring processes
- Conducts new hire orientation and administers company paperwork for all new hires and potential candidates.
- Serves as a role model and sets a positive example in all aspects of the business.
- Provides overall clerical support to the HR department and the Corporate Office.
- Maintains accurate and up-to-date human resource files, records, and documentation.
- Answers frequently asked questions from applicants and employees relative to standard policies, benefits, hiring processes, etc.; refers more complex questions to appropriate senior-level HR staff or management.
- Maintains the integrity and confidentiality of human resource files and records.
- Performs periodic audits of HR files and records to ensure that all required documents are collected and filed appropriately.
- Provides overall clerical support to the HR department and the Corporate Office.
- Assist with payroll functions including processing, answering employee questions, fixing processing errors, and distributing checks.
- Acts as a liaison between the organization and external benefits providers and vendors, which may include health, disability, and retirement plan providers.
- Conducts new hire orientation for all new hires.
- Administers on-boarding paperwork and enters all required information into HRIS system for newly hired employees.
- Assists with creation and distributions of offer letters from time to time.
- Notify and provide information to employees for company benefits.
- Create and terminate company email addresses as well as distribution lists.
- Assists with planning and execution of special events such as benefits open enrollment, organization-wide meetings, employee recognition events, holiday parties, and end of employment celebrations.
- Assists with note taking for employee relation issues.

About You:
- 2 years’ experience in Humas Resources
- Excellent attention to detail, time management, and organizational skills.
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills conducive to a productive teamwork environment.
- Ability to work both independently and in a team environment.
- Strong work ethic, team player, and customer-focused approach.
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:
- Ability to perform the essential job functions consistently, safely and successfully with the ADA, FMLA and other federal, state, and local standards, including meeting qualitative and/or quantitative productivity standards.
- Ability to maintain regular, punctual attendance consistent with the ADA, FMLA and other federal, state, and local standards.
- Moving about on foot to accomplish tasks, particularly frequent movements from place to place within the property. Bend, lift, carry, reach/extend arms, and hands above shoulder height frequently, or otherwise move in a constantly changing environment.
- Climbing steps regularly.
Compensation range: $24.00 - $28.00 per hour
