About The Role:
The Reservationist oversees and coordinates all reservations. In this role, you will handle reservations for the restaurant and club. Your primary duties include managing day-to-day reservations, responding to guest requests promptly and efficiently, overseeing bookings and the guest database, accommodating large parties, and processing reservations by taking, recording, changing, or canceling them. Additionally, you will assist with various administrative and clerical tasks as assigned by management.
What You Will Do
Handle incoming reservations inquiries via phone or email, providing information about availability and assist in making reservations based on their preferences and requirements.
Accurately input reservation details into reservation system, including member information, special requests, and payment details, ensuring completeness and correctness of reservation records.
Manage file keeping such as cc authorization forms and contracts.
Confirm reservations with guests via email or phone, providing confirmation details, reservation and club policies, and other relevant information to ensure guests have all necessary information for them and their guests.
Assist guests with inquiries, requests, or changes to existing reservations, including modifications to booking dates, and provide solutions to ensure member satisfaction and retention.
Communicate effectively with Managers to coordinate special requests and preferences, ensuring seamless experience from booking to departure.
Maintain accurate records of reservation activities, including guest profiles, booking statistics, and revenue reports, and generate reservation related reports as needed for management analysis and decision making.
Address guest concerns or issues related to reservations, such as discrepancies, cancellations, or special requests, and work with management to resolve problems promptly and satisfactorily.
Liaise with club managers regarding reservation enquiries.
Collaborate on special projects and tasks as assigned by the management team.
About You:
Minimum of two years' experience in a premium fine dining restaurant setting.
Proficient in Microsoft Office.
Exceptional phone etiquette and professional communication skills, both verbal and written.
Proficiency in online reservation systems.
Dedication to delivering exceptional dining service with a keen eye for detail.
Strong organizational and multitasking abilities.
Enthusiastic and outgoing demeanor, coupled with a customer-focused approach.
Team player capable of adapting to dynamic environments.
Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced setting.
Requirements:
Ability to work a flexible schedule including days, nights, weekends, and holidays
Ability to perform the essential job functions consistent safely and successfully with the ADA, FMLA and other federal, state, and local standards, including meeting qualitative and/or quantitative productivity standards
Ability to maintain regular, punctual attendance consistent with the ADA, FMLA and other federal, state, and local standards
Ability to lift and carry items weighing 10 – 30 pounds on a regular basis.
Ability to stand for prolong periods of time
Moving about on foot to accomplish tasks, particularly frequent movements from place to place within the store. Bend, lift, carry, reach/extend arms, and hands above shoulder height frequently, or otherwise move in a constantly changing environment
Climbing steps regularly.
