Philadelphia, PA based independent, employee-owned, SEC registered investment management firm is a majority owned subsidiary of Seaport Global. The firm manages multiple investment styles that leverage our coverage of companies in the micro-to mid- capitalization equity range, as well as companies that issue non-investment grade debt.
We are seeking a professional to work in its Finance and Investment Operations group. The Investment Services Associate position interacts across the organization and will support daily operations and client service activities of the firm. The individual will be responsible for supporting the finance and accounting, client service and operational functions of the firm. Will work closely with the VP of Finance and the Director of Investment Services.

Responsibilities:
- Client reporting – monthly and quarterly standard and custom reporting
- Asset and internal client portfolio reporting
- Accounts Payable and Receivable processing
- Corporate financial statement preparation and reporting
- Investment consultant database management
- Client Onboarding
- Client cash flow activity monitoring and posting
- Facilitating client/advisor requests
- Updating procedure documentation and seeking process improvement
- Additional finance and operations responsibilities depending on experience
- 1-5 years’ experience in investment management industry – operations, finance experience or client service experience a plus
- Strong attention to detail and ability to solve problems in a fast-paced environment
- Strong work ethic and ability to work in a team environment
- Excellent communication skills
- Highly developed organizational skills - ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple assignments
- Bachelor’s degree, preferably in Accounting or Finance
- Knowledge of financial markets and economic concepts
- Flexible in terms of daily schedule/responsibilities
- eVestment Omni and other institutional consultant databases
- Bloomberg and FactSet
- Excellent Microsoft Excel, Word & PowerPoint skills
