Join Our Dynamic Team as a Maintenance Technician
Are you ready to take on a crucial role in our steel warehouse? As a Maintenance Technician, you will be responsible for maintaining and ensuring the proper functioning of all equipment. Your role is essential in maintaining quality and safety standards, keeping accurate records, and ensuring the proper maintenance of equipment and supplies. Additional duties may be assigned as needed.
Experience: 2 years of experience, or combination of education experience
Salary: $27 - $30.50/hour

Responsibilities:
- Participate in Seaport Steel's Safety Program.
- Maintain daily logs to evaluate equipment performance.
- Perform daily rounds to ensure lifting equipment is working properly.
- Conduct preventative maintenance to minimize downtime.
- Repair equipment without internal combustion engines, including welding and fabricating components.
- Manage work order requests and spare parts inventory using Limble software.
- Perform basic trailer maintenance to meet DOT standards.
- Coordinate with vendors and the Warehouse Manager for repairs outside the scope of this position.

Overhead crane experience preferred.
Education/Experience:
High School Graduate; or four to five years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience
Language Ability:

Ability to make effective and persuasive speeches and presentations on controversial or complex topics to top management.
Math Ability:

Reasoning Ability:
