What are we looking for?
We are seeking an accomplished and dynamic leader to spearhead Searce's growth in the NAMER region. This role will focus on managing Searce's relationship with AWS, focusing on both technical and go-to-market aspects and leading the development of AI-led cloud-native technology solutions as well as creating GTM plans, developing business plans, and maintaining strong customer partnerships. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of the regional market landscape, exceptional leadership capabilities, and a proven track record in business expansion.
This role provides the unique opportunity to build and lead our AWS Practice for North America, setting the strategic vision and growing a team of excellent solutions consultants.
Job Responsibilities
- Defining and delivering consulting & sales strategy for AWS in line with the business goals across the region. You build it. You deliver it. You own it.
- Build, oversee and manage a team of Cloud & Applied AI Solutions Consultants.
- Support the formation of a Go-to-market strategy for new, as well as existing products & Services.
- Work closely with AWS business, sales & customer engineering leadership teams and drive joint co-consult strategy.
- Identify industry specific technical solutions & accelerate their adoption across businesses.
- Work closely with the CEO’s, CTO’s of Searce’s client base (including top start-ups, corporates & enterprises) and be their strategic advisor for all things ‘Cloud’ as we help them scale.
- Participate at industry events, conferences, trade shows, and expositions providing thought leadership & make meaningful connections with partners, clients, and vendors.
- Manage thought leadership and influence on driving broader organizational growth by contributing to strategic plans for Searce’s Global Growth.
- Stay up-to-date with the latest trends and technologies in Solution Architecture, integrating innovative approaches for sustained competitive advantage by using a range of new and emerging technologies from AWS Cloud.
Qualifications
- Have a bachelor’s degree in business, marketing, or a related field (Preferably with an MBA in Sales & Marketing).
- 10 years of experience in consulting/selling/closing deals in the professional services space across Tech Consulting and Application Development services, Cloud & Data migration and modernization, Public Cloud managed services, Applied AI & Data Analytics based services.
- Excellent understanding of AWS products and service offerings to show the depth of engagement in the past.
- Exposure and understanding to technology stack such as Application Modernisation, ML & AI, Data & Analytics (Redshift, DataLake etc), Devops(CI-CD, Kubernetes etc)
- At least 7 years experience in direct sales and enterprise-level engagements.
- Ability to interact, converse and ideate with CTOs, CEOs, VPs and IT Directors.
- Critical thinking, decisiveness and ability to work well in demanding & ambiguous client environments.
- Ability to work in a young, fast-paced environment. Willingness to travel as required.
