Our client is looking for an Application Engineer to join their aftermarket team in the Buffalo, NY area. This role involves assessing customer needs, preparing proposals, and recommending appropriate products or services. The engineer will also provide post-sales technical support, troubleshooting issues, and ensuring seamless product application.
- Evaluate customer requirements and suggest suitable product solutions.
- Act as a bridge between engineering and sales teams, contributing to product improvements and potential new developments.
- Offer technical guidance to customers and sales representatives to enhance sales opportunities and strengthen relationships.
- Assist in preparing proposals, pricing strategies, and data packages, ensuring accuracy and alignment with customer needs.
- Maintain expertise in application engineering tools and methodologies.
- Support continuous improvement initiatives across departments.
- Represent the company in customer and partner interactions.
