Job Description:
Our client is looking for a skilled Cybersecurity Analyst to enhance the security of their cloud operations. This individual will play a key role in safeguarding cloud environments, refining security protocols, identifying system vulnerabilities, overseeing security training initiatives, and assessing vendor security practices. The role also involves data-driven security analysis, incident response participation, and compliance monitoring.
- Cloud Security Management: Implement and oversee security measures for cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, Google Cloud) to maintain a secure infrastructure.
- Policy & Documentation: Develop and update cybersecurity policies, procedures, and best practices to align with security and compliance standards.
- Vulnerability Management: Identify, assess, and mitigate risks across servers and workstations to maintain a strong security posture.
- Security Assessments: Contribute to security audits and assessments to verify adherence to industry regulations.
- Data Analysis & Reporting: Aggregate and analyze security data from multiple sources to identify potential threats and system vulnerabilities.
- Security Training & Awareness: Support ongoing education initiatives to promote best practices and mitigate cyber risks among employees.
- Vendor Security Evaluations: Gather necessary documentation and conduct assessments to ensure third-party security compliance.
- Incident Response: Assist in investigating security incidents, analyzing potential threats, and implementing corrective measures.
- Regulatory Compliance: Maintain compliance with applicable security regulations and industry standards.
- Security Tools Administration: Help manage cybersecurity tools and software used within the organization.
- Continuous Learning: Stay informed on evolving cyber threats, security technologies, and industry advancements.
Position Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Cybersecurity, Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related discipline.
- Experience securing cloud-based environments.
- Strong understanding of cybersecurity principles, risk management, and best practices.
- Proven ability to document security policies and procedures.
- Hands-on experience with vulnerability assessment and remediation.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret security data from various sources.
- Effective communication and technical documentation skills.
Preferred Requirements:
- Familiarity with endpoint protection solutions like CrowdStrike.
- Experience with zero trust security tools such as Zscaler.
- Relevant cybersecurity or cloud security certifications.
