Job Description:
This role offers an opportunity to join a dynamic team responsible for designing cryogenic systems, with a focus on hydrogen, helium, and natural gas purification and liquefaction processes. The ideal candidate will excel in a collaborative team environment while delivering high-quality process engineering outputs.
- Develop process cycles, simulations, and heat/material balances.
- Create and manage Process Flow Diagrams (PFDs) and Piping & Instrumentation Diagrams (P&IDs).
- Prepare equipment data sheets and compile equipment/utility lists.
- Conduct calculations for vessel sizing, line sizing, hydraulic evaluations, control valve sizing, and relief valve sizing.
- Draft process descriptions for project proposals.
- Participate in HAZOP (Hazard and Operability Analysis) reviews.
- Work with Process Controls teams to create Control Narratives and Cause & Effect Diagrams.
- Support plant commissioning, start-up, and operating manual preparations.
- Assist in plant start-up activities, troubleshooting, and performance testing.
- Contribute to the development and improvement of process engineering standards and workflows.
Position Requirements:
- At least 8 years of experience in process engineering, with a preference for cryogenic industry expertise.
- Bachelor’s degree in Chemical Engineering.
- Knowledge of cryogenic process technologies, such as hydrogen liquefaction, helium processing, natural gas liquefaction, or air separation.
- Solid understanding of chemical engineering principles, including thermodynamics, fluid dynamics, and heat transfer.
- Recent experience with start-up and commissioning in a cryogenic plant environment.
- Proficiency in process simulation software like ASPEN or HYSYS.
- Familiarity with applicable engineering codes and standards.
- Strong teamwork, organizational, and communication skills.
- Ability to work effectively across engineering disciplines and with customers.

Salary : $120,000 - $140,000
