Job Description:
The Senior Product Owner will play a critical role in leading product development efforts within an agile framework. They will collaborate with internal teams and external stakeholders to ensure that product solutions align with the company’s mission and customer needs. A background in healthcare technology and previous experience in software development will be highly advantageous in bridging the gap between business requirements and technical execution.
- Manage new product and feature development independently within Agile teams.
- Collaborate with Scrum Masters and technical leads to refine backlogs and plan sprints.
- Act as the product owner for one or more solutions, actively participating in all scrum events.
- Develop user guides and product documentation.
- Serve as the liaison between product managers and engineering teams, ensuring clear communication of goals and requirements.
- Support go-to-market strategies and cross-departmental coordination for product launches.
- Continuously analyze and improve product management processes.
- Lead and contribute to strategic planning sessions for quarterly and monthly releases.
- Work closely with engineers, QA teams, sales, and customer success representatives to design and deliver innovative software solutions that exceed client expectations.
- Oversee and guide other product owners, ensuring quality and completion of their tasks.
- Provide input, feedback, and coaching during sprint and release planning.
- Use performance metrics and user feedback to guide product improvements.
- Define customer personas for beta testing and limited production rollouts.
- Assist with day-to-day decision-making on product scope and provide input on functional design.
- Own and prioritize product backlogs, ensuring that agile teams are focused on delivering the highest-value features.
- Contribute to the ongoing improvement of agile processes and practices across product teams.
- Perform additional duties as needed.
Position Requirements:
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Business, or a related field.
- At least 2 years of experience in IT project management.
- Minimum 2 years of hands-on experience in software development.
- 5 years of proven experience in software product management, covering various aspects of the product lifecycle.
- Strong familiarity with Agile-Scrum methodologies and best practices.
- Exceptional analytical skills, with the ability to quickly grasp complex technical problems and translate them into clear, actionable requirements.
- Proven ability to build relationships and gain consensus among diverse stakeholders, both internal and external.
- Skilled in delivering confident, polished presentations and handling challenging questions from a variety of audiences.
- Experience in strategic product positioning, market analysis, and applying best practices from various industries.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
Preferred Requirements:
- Product Owner or Scrum Master certification (Scrum.org or Scrum Inc.).
- Strong understanding of software design patterns and system architecture.
- Experience developing web and mobile applications for iOS and Android.
- Previous experience managing API-focused product initiatives.
- Familiarity with pharmacy management systems or healthcare IT solutions.
- Knowledge of tools like Jira, Aha, and Azure DevOps is a plus.

Salary : $120,000 - $140,000
