Location : South Bend, IN (Local Candidates Only No Relocation)
Salary : $75K - $83K Performance-Based Bonuses
Shift : 2nd Shift (2 : 00 PM 10 : 00 PM, may vary based on plant needs)
Benefits : PTO, Tuition Reimbursement, Full Healthcare, 401(k) with Match

We are seeking a 2nd Shift Plant Supervisor to take charge of operations in a fast-paced industrial facility that is investing in new leadership, equipment, and processes. This is a high-impact role where the right leader can drive cultural and operational change.
This is not a desk jobwe need a boots-on-the-ground supervisor who thrives on the plant floor, not just in meetings. If youre a hands-on leader who can motivate teams, improve efficiency, and foster accountability, we want to talk to you!
What Youll Be Doing :
Leading & Coaching Teams Manage a second-shift team of ~20 employees, ensuring smooth production and operational flow.
Driving Cultural & Operational Change Be a bridge between upper management and the plant floor, reinforcing strong leadership and accountability.
Ensuring Safety & Compliance Maintain high safety standards and ensure adherence to company and regulatory guidelines.
Problem-Solving in Real-Time Quickly assess and resolve production or personnel challenges to keep operations on track.
Tracking & Improving Performance Metrics Help the plant qualify for performance incentives by optimizing efficiency and workflow.
Coordinating Across Departments Work with maintenance, quality control, and supply chain teams to improve processes and meet production goals.
What Were Looking For :
5-7 years of leadership experience in manufacturing or distribution.
Strong, hands-on leadership style Someone who leads by example and stays engaged on the floor.
Proven track record of improving culture and operational efficiency.
Experience in metals, CNC machining, or related industries is strongly preferred.
Must be comfortable working 2nd shift and have the ability to make independent decisions.
Local candidates only no relocation assistance is provided.
Preferred but Not Required :
Bachelors degree in business, industrial management, or a related field.
Experience with lean manufacturing, ISO compliance, and continuous improvement initiatives.
Background in material distribution, aluminum, copper, or related industries.
