Tax Manager

One of the largest CPA firms in the region is looking for a Manager or Senior Manager to join their growing Tax team in Covington, Louisiana.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Accounting
• Minimum of 5 years of tax experience
• Experience managing multiple engagements and supervising staff
• CPA licensure
• Excellent communication (verbal and written) skills

Responsibilities:

• Manage all aspects of multiple client engagements.
• Review high net worth individual, partnership, corporate and trust tax returns.
• Review quarterly estimates, extensions, and year-end projections.
• Create and monitor engagement budgets.
• Review tax workpapers.
• Collaborate with the engagement teams and partners on resolving client issues.
• Build and maintain relationships with clients.
• Supervise, train and mentor staff, seniors and interns.
