We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Physical Therapist to join our healthcare team in Mission Viejo. This position offers both part-time and full-time opportunities, allowing for flexible scheduling to meet your needs. As a Physical Therapist, you will play a crucial role in enhancing the quality of life for patients by helping them regain movement and manage pain effectively.
Key Responsibilities :
- Evaluate and assess patients based on the physician's orders to determine the best course of treatment.
- Develop and implement personalized treatment plans tailored to each patient's unique needs and goals.
- Utilize various therapeutic techniques such as manual therapy, exercises, and modalities to promote recovery and improve function.
- Conduct thorough functional assessments, including evaluating home and vocational environments and equipment needs.
- Document patient progress and modify treatment plans as necessary to ensure optimal outcomes.
- Educate patients and their families on exercises and therapeutic procedures to continue post-treatment.
- Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team to provide comprehensive patient care.
- Participate in departmental meetings and contribute to quality improvement initiatives.
- Maintain professional standards and comply with regulatory guidelines.
