Our client is seeking an experienced and proactive Communications Specialist to join their team. This individual will play a critical role in developing, executing and managing content strategies that encompass written, visual, and video communications to promote their brand, educate their clients, and increase engagement with their services. The ideal candidate is creative, detail-oriented, and knowledgeable in finance and wealth management, with strong skills in video production and multi-media content design / distribution. This is an in office position.
Content Management & Distribution :
Edit and distribute multimedia content across various platforms, including the website, newsletters, social media, video, and other marketing materials.
Design and distribute engaging materials, including blogs, articles, video scripts, presentations, and educational video that highlight their firm’s expertise, market insights, and service offerings.
Ensure all content aligns with the firm’s brand voice, style, and compliance standards.
Conceptualize, produce, and edit video content for digital channels, client communications, and social media.
Oversee all phases of video production, including storyboarding, filming, editing, and post-production, ensuring high-quality and brand-aligned video output.
Collaborate with team members to develop visual storytelling strategies that effectively communicate our financial expertise and client value.
Manage the firm’s social media presence by creating visually appealing video and graphic content, particularly for LinkedIn, Twitter, You Tube, and other relevant platforms.
Develop social media distribution strategies for targeted content
Track and analyze digital metrics to measure content effectiveness and adapt strategies to increase engagement and visibility.
Conduct market research to stay informed of industry trends, especially in multimedia marketing strategies, and adjust communication approaches accordingly.
Provide recommendations to refine messaging, channels, and positioning based on insights and competitive analysis. Qualifications :
BS in Communications, Marketing, Film, Digital Media, or related field.
2-5 years’ experience in a communications or marketing role with video production experience, preferably in financial services, wealth management, or related industry.
Proficient in video editing software (eg. Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro) and familiarity with graphic design tools (eg. Adobe Photoshop, After Effects)
Strong writing, editing, and video storytelling skills, with the ability to translate complex financial concepts into accessible, engaging video content.
Experience with social media management, digital marketing tools, and video publishing platforms (eg. YouTube, Vimeo).
Keen attention to detail and ability to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment to meet tight deadlines.
