Under general supervision, you will design, build, implement, monitor, and maintain moderately complex to complex global network systems. This role requires working independently in both operational and design environments, collaborating with cross-discipline workgroups, and developing scalable network solutions deployable across the enterprise.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design, install, and configure network server systems and repair server hardware.
- Monitor, maintain, support, and optimize all networked software and operating systems.
- Use knowledge of server operating systems to design and install internal and external networks.
- Perform remedial maintenance on file servers and network devices, including hardware and software restoration.
- Test and evaluate network systems to ensure stability, troubleshoot issues, and implement improvements.
- Identify and recommend cost-effective technology solutions.
- Assist in vendor comparisons and cost analysis for large-scale system projects.
- Collaborate with IT Risk Management and Security to reduce business risk.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related field OR equivalent experience
- 5 years of relevant, progressive experience working with Cisco ACI, Citrix, VMware, Dell servers, and Microsoft technologies
- Cisco Certified Network Professional (CCNP) certification preferred
