Job Overview : Search Solution Group is seeking an Account Manager on behalf of our client, a strategic communications and content services firm specializing in deep-tech B2B companies. The Account Manager will play a critical role in ensuring client programs are delivered on time and within budget while fostering strong client relationships and maintaining the company's reputation for excellence in the tech B2B communications space. Key Responsibilities : Client Program Management : Deliver 90%!o(MISSING)f client programs on time and within budget. Proactively identify resource needs or performance issues using Salesforce reports and escalate to the VP when necessary. Develop and present creative campaign ideas to clients to ensure 90%!c(MISSING)lient referenceability. Maintain a two-hour service-level agreement (SLA) for client requests. Service Delivery : Ensure high-quality services, particularly in securing top-tier media coverage. Serve as the primary client contact, fostering positive relationships. Generate and manage client bylines, aligning content with messaging and publication requirements. Secure interviews and contributed content with top-tier media to maintain strong relationships. Team Leadership : Manage up to three direct reports, providing mentorship and performance feedback. Conduct weekly 1 : 1 meetings to address team needs, provide challenges, and ensure growth opportunities. Retain direct reports for a minimum of two years by fostering a collaborative work environment. Conduct performance evaluations and recommend promotions or pay increases. Account and Revenue Oversight : Monitor and address potential account issues proactively. Apply Crazy Good Client Satisfaction (CGCS) processes to maximize client retention. Requirements Include : Education : Bachelor's degree in PR, Journalism, Communications, Marketing, or Business. Experience : 7-10 years in a PR agency or in-house PR environment, with at least 4 years in the assigned technology domain. Proven track record in managing client accounts and team leadership. Skills : Strong written and verbal communication skills. Proficiency in Salesforce, PR tools, and project management software. Ability to self-manage, take initiative, and work efficiently under deadlines. Certifications : None specified. Knowledge : Deep understanding of the tech B2B industry and media landscape.
