Job Overview :

Search Solution Group is seeking a General Manager (GM) on behalf of our client, a well-established Southern-style restaurant chain. The GM is responsible for driving sales, traffic, and profitability while ensuring an exceptional guest and employee experience. They will play a key role in maintaining the company's culture, operational excellence, and community engagement, ensuring the restaurant operates efficiently and effectively.

Key Responsibilities :

People :

Actively seek growth opportunities or assignments for development.
Communicate effectively and in a timely manner with all guests (internal and external).
Take an active role in onboarding new team members and providing ongoing training.
Serve as a subject matter expert and ensure adherence to all systems and processes.
Demonstrate the company's cultural principles in every interaction.

Performance :

Ensure compliance with all systems and processes, including BoFood and BoLabor.

Uphold operational standards and take corrective action when needed.

Empower team members to maintain a high level of guest service with every interaction.

Conduct proper manager walks, process execution, and timely escalation of issues.

Build and maintain strong external relationships with the community to drive recruitment and sales.

Profit :

Increase same-store growth through sales, guest counts, and upselling.

Understand and manage the restaurant's P&L results.

Demonstrate how quality, service, and cleanliness impact sales and customer satisfaction.

Participate in inventory management to minimize waste and ensure accuracy.

Uphold safety and security standards and ensure compliance across all areas.

Engage with all LTO (Limited Time Offers) throughout the life cycle, including training and promotional material by deadlines.

Requirements include :

Education :

High School Diploma or equivalent.

College degree or equivalent experience preferred.

Experience :

Minimum of 3 years of management experience in a fast-paced, customer service-oriented environment.

Experience in restaurant management with a focus on customer service, sales, and profitability.

Skills :

Ability to read, write, and speak English fluently.

Proficient in Microsoft Office applications.

Strong communication, interpersonal, and leadership skills.

Cash handling and bank deposit experience.

Certifications :

Must possess a valid driver's license.

Any relevant food safety or health certifications are preferred.

Knowledge :

Solid understanding of restaurant P&L.

Knowledge of quality standards, inventory management, and safety regulations.

Additional Information :

Work Environment : Fast-paced, dynamic restaurant setting. Must be able to stand, bend, kneel, and lift 25 lbs regularly.

Travel Requirements : No travel required; however, some local community engagement and event participation may be expected.

Reporting Structure : Reports directly to the Area Director or Regional Manager.
