Job Overview :
Search Solution Group is seeking a Payroll Operations Employee Service Specialist on behalf of our client, a prominent American company that designs, manufactures, and sells electrical and electronic products. This role is critical to ensuring the efficient and accurate processing of employee payroll tasks, collaborating with the Managed Services Provider, and maintaining compliance with internal controls, audit standards, and legal requirements. The Payroll Operations Employee Service Specialist will also be the point of contact for employees, managers, and business-unit stakeholders for payroll-related inquiries.
Key Responsibilities :
- Serve as a collaborative team member, working with payroll associates and functional business partners to achieve payroll accuracy and timeliness.
- Perform accurate entry of job, salary, and personal data that is not interfaced from the HRIS system to the payroll system.
- Manage payroll processing deadlines with Managed Services Provider to ensure payroll accuracy, completeness, and compliance with internal controls.
- Analyze and resolve data discrepancies between HRIS and payroll database systems.
- Review, correct, and approve data inputs; analyze pre- and post-payroll audit reports to identify and resolve errors.
- Support the garnishment process, partnering with managed services where required.
- Ensure compliance with audit requirements and internal control standards for supporting documentation.
- Act as a Subject Matter Expert for all aspects of time and payroll system functionality.
- Provide employee support regarding personnel records, time input, earnings, deductions, and tax issues.
- Support HR Operational Services, Benefits, Compensation, and Finance teams with payroll-related requests.
- Enter, follow up, and resolve tickets in ServiceNow and ADP CRM tools.
- Maintain confidentiality, data privacy, data security, and SOX compliance at all times.
- Prepare and process off-cycle payrolls in compliance with state regulations regarding final pay.
