Job Overview : We are seeking a qualified PLC Programmer to join our client's electrical maintenance team. This role is crucial for maintaining, programming, and supporting PLC operation systems and processes. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in machine mechanics, a logical approach to problem-solving, and the ability to work independently. This position plays a vital role in ensuring the efficient and effective operation of electrical machines and systems within a union environment.
Key Responsibilities :
- Develop control programs for electrical machines and systems.
- Diagnose faults and perform necessary maintenance.
- Address and repair AC / DC circuits.
- Develop and optimize PLC processes.
- Visualize processes to ensure systems operate at full potential.
- Develop, maintain, and deliver training to the team.
- Coordinate and prioritize work to support production requirements.
- Assist in scheduling and supporting hourly electricians performing maintenance tasks.
- Plan work and ensure all necessary parts are available to support electrical maintenance tasks.
- Provide continuous improvement design and development support for ongoing projects.
- Perform any other tasks as directed by the Supervisor.
