Job Overview :
Search Solution Group is seeking a Sales Engineer on behalf of our client, a company specializing in engineered elastomeric solutions within the rubber industry. The Sales Engineer will play a critical role in developing new business prospects and maintaining strong relationships with existing customers to drive sales growth. This role is vital in expanding the reach of the company's products and services while ensuring a high level of customer satisfaction and coordination with various internal teams.
Key Responsibilities :
Develop new prospects and engage with existing customers to drive sales of products and services.
Cultivate relationships with key accounts to foster growth opportunities and ensure long-term partnerships.
Qualify and guide leads through the sales pipeline, focusing on converting opportunities into successful business.
Maintain a high level of customer satisfaction by addressing concerns and offering tailored solutions.
Work closely with key account managers, engineers, and other divisions to ensure seamless service delivery.
Assist in the development and implementation of marketing plans to support sales efforts.
Apply basic engineering knowledge to assist in the development of new applications for clients.
Travel to prospects and customers as necessary, representing in sales meetings and product discussions (30-50%!t(MISSING)ravel requirement).
Perform other related duties and responsibilities as assigned. Requirements include :
Education :
Bachelor's degree in engineering or an equivalent technical field. Experience :
2 years of experience in industrial sales and / or customer service with OEMs.
2 years of experience in the engineering or manufacturing industry is preferred.
Experience with technical business processes such as RFQ, PPAP, and ECR is desirable. Skills :
Strong written and verbal communication, negotiation, and selling skills.
Proficient in Microsoft Office, CRM software, and basic engineering tools.
Familiarity with blueprint reading is a plus. Certifications :
Engineering-related certifications or technical business process knowledge (preferred). Knowledge :
Knowledge of JIT, logistics, and supply chain fundamentals.
Basic understanding of rubber manufacturing processes is preferred.
Familiarity with basic engineering principles and manufacturing processes. Key Competencies :
Proven track record of driving sales growth and exceeding targets.
Exceptional customer service and problem-solving abilities.
Strong organizational and time management skills.
Positive attitude, professional demeanor, and the ability to work independently.
