Embedded Firmware Developer – Drone Systems (Defense)

Must be clearance eligible – US Citizens only due to the nature of projects (ITAR)

  • We are looking for multiple Embedded Software Engineers (Mid to Lead)
  • Autonomous Drone Platforms
  • Competitive Salary Package Equity
  • El Segundo, CA – full time, on-site

I’m working with an incredibly exciting Defense Startup, they have set out to revolutionize the autonomous drone space (and they are doing just that!). Early-stage, highly-backed startup with something seriously exciting up their sleeve. This is a great opportunity to become part of the next big thing in Defense.

Required Skills :

  • High proficiency in C / C
  • Basic Electrical Engineering skills
  • Industry experience in new board bring-up
  • Proficiency in communication protocols like I2C, CAN, SPI, UART
  • Experience with low-level hardware driver implementation
  • Thorough understanding of GNC, control and estimation theory, and autonomous sensors and integration

    • Desired :

  • Experience in electronics design (Schematic design, PCB design)
  • Experience with Flight Control software (PX4, Betaflight, Ardupilot)
