IT Manager
We’re currently working with a leading Defense client in El Segundo who is revolutionizing the drone space. They’re building globally leading autonomous drones for defense application. They envision a battlefield full of robots and scarce of humans, therefore saving as many lives as possible.
We are seeking a skilled and proactive IT Manager to oversee its entire IT infrastructure. This role requires a combination of hands-on hardware management and expertise in automation. The ideal candidate will play a key role in ensuring system security, efficiency, and compliance with industry regulation
Responsibilities
- Oversee and implement strategies for both on-premise and cloud storage, ensuring compliance with government regulations for handling sensitive data.
- Develop and enforce a cybersecurity framework designed to protect against advanced threats.
- Manage enterprise software applications, serving as the primary administrator to ensure smooth operations across departments.
- Design and implement an automated system for tracking and managing IT hardware assets, including inventory control and deployment.
Role Requirements:
- More than five years of experience in IT management with a strong focus on security and compliance.
- In-depth knowledge of ITAR compliance requirements.
- Proficiency in cybersecurity frameworks, including NIST 800-171, CMMC, and ISO 27001.
- Experience handling and overseeing ITAR-regulated data.
- Expertise in network security, firewall management, encryption protocols, and access control measures.
- Hands-on experience administering Windows and Linux servers, as well as managing cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, and GCC High.
