Job Description

  • Assist attorneys in preparing, organizing, and maintaining legal documents for workers' compensation cases.
  • Manage and update case files, ensuring accuracy in records and compliance with deadlines.
  • Communicate with clients, medical providers, and insurance companies to gather required documentation.
  • Schedule appointments, hearings, and depositions, ensuring all parties are informed and prepared.
  • Draft and prepare correspondence, pleadings, and other legal documents under attorney supervision.
  • File legal documents with courts and administrative agencies.

Qualifications

  • Bilingual in Spanish is required.
  • Previous experience as a legal assistant
  • At least 1 year of experience on the applicant side in workers' compensation
  • Strong organizational skills with attention to detail.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication abilities.
  • Capable of multitasking and prioritizing in a fast-paced environment.
  • Self-motivated and able to work independently as well as collaboratively.
  • Strong customer service skills to interact effectively with clients and professionals.
