Candidate Profile :
5–7 years of title underwriting experience , with commercial underwriting experience preferred .
Strong knowledge of real estate law , including federal and state regulations.
In-depth understanding of real estate title processes and settlement procedures .
Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to assess complex transactions.
Strong negotiation skills with the ability to present alternative solutions effectively.
Ability to collaborate and build relationships with internal teams and external stakeholders.
Exceptional verbal and written communication skills.
Strong organizational abilities with the capacity to prioritize and manage multiple tasks.
Creative and strategic thinker with the ability to offer innovative solutions.
What You’ll Do :
Provide underwriting counsel and support to company personnel and clients on real estate title insurance commitments and policies .
Utilize underwriting standards and guidelines within delegated authority to assess risk and issue title insurance .
Advise company personnel on best practices for real estate settlement services.
Ensure compliance with underwriting standards, guidelines, and established company procedures.
Work collaboratively with internal teams and external clients to resolve underwriting challenges and enhance service delivery.
