The High School Secretary/Bookkeeper plays a critical role in maintaining the daily operations of Searcy Public Schools. As a member of the school community, this individual will be responsible for providing administrative support, managing records and finances, and ensuring a positive experience for students, parents, and staff.
Responsibilities Include:
- Front Desk Operations: Greet visitors, answer phone calls, and respond to emails, providing exceptional customer service.
- Attendance Tracking: Record and maintain accurate attendance records, preparing reports for administrators as needed.
- Financial Management: Process invoices, manage activity accounts, and make deposits, ensuring accuracy and transparency.
- Purchase Order Management: Organize and process purchase orders for departments, ensuring timely approvals and shipments.
- Free/Reduced Lunch Program: Review and determine eligibility for free/reduced lunch programs, updating lists accordingly.
- Supply Chain Management: Manage teacher supplies, placing orders as needed, and maintaining inventory levels.
