Job description[]{role="document"}We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) to join our Memory Care Unit team at Searstone Retirement Community.Both full-time (30-40 hours / week) and part-time (10-29 hours / week) positions are available to accommodate various scheduling needs.The ideal candidate will have experience working with seniors with dementia and Alzheimer's disease, demonstrating both clinical expertise and emotional intelligence.DutiesAssist patients with daily living activities such as bathing, dressing, and grooming.Monitor and record vital signs, including temperature, pulse, respiration, and blood pressure.Provide basic patient care under the supervision of registered nurses or licensed practical nurses.Help transport patients within the facility and assist with mobility.Maintain cleanliness and organization in patient areas to promote a safe environment.Communicate effectively with patients to understand their needs and concerns.Document patient care activities accurately in accordance with healthcare protocols.Support senior care initiatives by engaging with elderly patients compassionately.SkillsExperience in senior care or home care settings is preferred..Strong understanding of patient care principles and practices in acute care environments.Ability to take and record vital signs accurately.Excellent communication skills to interact effectively with patients, families, and healthcare team members.Empathy and patience when dealing with patients from diverse backgrounds.Join our team as a Nursing Assistant where you can make a meaningful impact on the lives of those you serve.
