JOB TITLE : Bus Driver (0.75 FTE)
REPORTS TO : Transportation Supervisor
POSITION SUMMARY : The primary purpose of this position is to transport students to and from school, home and activity destinations in a timely and safe manner. Emphasis will be on following regulations for safe operation and maintaining order among student passengers. Full job description available upon request.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS :
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Criminal history clearance (background and HB 2062).
- Valid Oregon Driver's License or Commercial Driver's License, Oregon Department of Education School Bus Driver's Certificate, and evidence of insurability.
- Pass an Employment Drug & Alcohol Assessment, and
- Pass a school bus driver physical.

TERMS OF EMPLOYMENT : Works a school year calendar, approximately 183 days at 0.75 FTE. Based on current OSEA salary
schedule and negotiated agreement, salary (code 10.5 - starting $22.96 / hr. - $26.58 / hr.) with excellent benefits including Medical,
Dental, and Vision insurance and Oregon state retirement. Paid time off includes one sick day per month worked and two personal days, pro-rated per school year. Starts as soon as possible. Benefit information can be found at www.seasidek12.or.us / hr / benefits. Open until filled.
