Seaside Mulch is hiring an Equipment Operator at our 201 N Green Meadows Dr Wilmington, NC facility.
Job Overview
We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Equipment Operator to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for operating various types of heavy machinery and equipment to ensure efficient and safe operations on-site. This role requires a strong understanding of equipment functionality, safety protocols, and the ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
- Proven experience operating heavy equipment is preferred.
- Valid commercial driving license (CDL) is a plus.
- Familiarity with various types of machinery including forestry and construction machinery and dump trucks.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety practices.
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
- Excellent communication skills..
- Operate excavators, material handlers, shredders, wheel loaders, and trucks.
- Inspect and perform required daily maintenance.
- Service equipment and perform repairs as needed.
- Load customer and company trucks.
- Inspect vegetative debris.
- Grade yard and keep facility clean and organized.
- Communicate with Team and customers.
- Document service work and complete Work Orders.
- No Smoking Facility
