The Big Task
You will camera, diagnose and repair residential drain systems and lead customers to informed and confident buying decisions. This unique role combines technical expertise in sewer camera inspection and diagnostics with sales responsibilities for recommending repair and replacement services. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in drains or a related field, excellent communication skills, and a proactive attitude. Assess homeowners' plumbing needs
Responsibilities
- Provide Camera service for mainline stoppages
- Engage with customers in a professional and courteous manner, effectively communicating drain issues and recommended solutions to generate sales opportunities by explaining the features and benefits of each solution.
- Prepare comprehensive written descriptions and sketches to support proposals, present detailed estimates and proposals to clients
- Obtain agreement for services before performing work
- Identify opportunities to upsell additional services or products to customers, maximizing revenue potential.
- Facilitate smooth communication and coordination between the Plumbing Department and clients
- Strive to exceed customer expectations by delivering exceptional service experiences and resolving any customer concerns or issues promptly
- Have the basic knowledge of how a plumbing system works ie. Be able to remove and reset a toilet and a P-trap
- Be able to successfully perform basic drain cleaning functions using small to large-sized drain cleaning machines
- Operate equipment in a safe manner
- Be accurate and timely with invoices, time cards, curbside feedback and option sheets.
- Occasional 12-8 and Saturday shifts will be required, but scheduled in advance
Requirements:
- Represent our company with professionalism and integrity
- Maintain truck inventory of parts and restock truck to minimum stock levels
- Wear all applicable Personal Protective Equipment (PPE)
- Self-motivated and able to work independently as well as part of a team.
- Valid driver's license and clean driving record.
- Clean background check
- Communicate professionally and respectfully with customers, office staff, and co-workers
- Participation in required staff meetings and training
