Season to Season is currently hiring for the following positions:

Container Gardening Crew leader

We are currently looking for candidates with an eye for design. Ideal candidate will have plant knowledge and/or horticultural skills. This person will be responsible for themselves as well as at least one other person creating custom, seasonally appropriate container gardens for a high-end clientele. Workdays are typically 8-4:30 M-F although there may be an occasional Saturday required during our busy seasons (April-June and September-December) Must have a clean driving record and be able to drive a company van to jobsites.

Duties:

• Crew leader in charge of the following: (they can delegate, but needs to take responsibility)
• Job sheet review- before heading out
• Understand location, route and team members assigned
• Bring up questions or contingency suggestions before leaving
• Tools – vans restocked, specialty tools needed
• Job supplies- rock, soil, screen etc
• Planting plan review at the greenhouse-
• Do a check to make sure all plants make it into the van.
• Job specific execution-
• Walk job with team and review clean out for each container
• Delegate work to team members
• Layout containers per the planting plan
• Check in with team members for quality control
• Irrigation is properly arranged
• Planters are back filled appropriately
• Fertilizer and watered in at each container
• Clean up- sweep, blow, water, wipe down containers
• Document job
• Update job sheet if info missing or changed
• Upload photos for each container
• Track what is planted in each container
• Suggested method: Take picture when you finish the container and note the count and name of plants- keep tags for clarification of the plant names
• Daily execution
• Track schedule- communicate with Lynn/Ronda if failing behind or ahead
• Communicate issues/changes in real time to the group text
• Plan for lunch break- set expectation with your team
• Plan for unload – either head to greenhouse or back to office
• trash, recycle, restock vans, plants unload/doors open

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $20.00 - $28.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
