POSITION SUMMARY : This position will serve as the Camp Nurse for the Silver Bay Day Camp, The primary responsibilities of this position will include, but not be limited to providing basic medical services for day camp attendees, supervising the health and cleanliness standards for the Day Camp and working in a team environment with counselors and leaders.
ESSENTAIL FUNCTIONS :
- Tracks and manages medication for day camp attendees
- Provides basic medical treatment to day camp attendees and staff.
- Contacts parents concerning sickness or other medical issues as needed
- Maintain the first aid area in a clean, sanitary, and well stocked manner.
- Maintain accurate records of injuries, illnesses, medications and treatments administered.
- Contributes to the overall well-being of all people on campus.
- Works closely with day camp staff in a team environment
- Performs other duties and responsibilities as assigned and deemed appropriate by the Program Director.
