We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Pediatric Adolescent Nurse to join our team. This position offers the opportunity to make a real difference in the lives of patients. The ideal candidate will have a current LVN or RN license issued by CA and a high school diploma or equivalent. Completion of a state-approved program per licensure is required, and experience with adolescents, eating disorders, or residential treatment is preferred.
Responsibilities:
We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Pediatric Adolescent Nurse to join our team. This position offers the opportunity to make a real difference in the lives of patients. Completion of a state-approved program per licensure is required, and experience with adolescents, eating disorders, or residential treatment is preferred.
Responsibilities:
- Monitor and record vital signs, such as blood pressure, temperature, and pulse rate of patients
- Administer medications per MD's orders
- Prepare and manage patient charts and medical records
- Provide emotional and psychological support to patients and their families
- Document all care in an accurate and timely manner
- Ensure compliance with all safety and infection control policies and procedures
- Uphold Nursing Practice Act and Nursing Code of Ethics
- Follow safety protocols and ensure patients are supervised and safe at all times
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to provide comprehensive care, including our medical, clinical, and dietary teams
- Current LVN or RN license issued by CA
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Completion of a state-approved program per licensure
- Experience with adolescents, eating disorders, or residential treatment preferred
- Must be willing to work occasional nights and weekends
- Excellent attention to detail and analytical skills
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and privacy at all times
- Knowledge of medical terminology and basic nursing procedures
- Must be reliable, efficient, and demonstrate initiative
- Must work well in a team-oriented environment
- Ability to operate medical equipment and follow safety protocols
